What to do at Defeated Creek
Defeated Creek Marina and Resort is unlike most other
resorts. We are not crowded. With our 40 acres of grounds,
every guest has plenty of space to enjoy themselves. Want a
busy day? Rent a boat and spend the day on the lake, have
dinner on our restaurant deck, overlooking the lake. Then take
a walk around the grounds and enjoy a star filled sky. You will
not believe how many stars you can see. Another busy day? Go
hiking on one of many trails, including the spectacular Bear
Waller Gap Trail, 7 miles of nature trail through the woods.
OK, an easy day next, swim and suntan on the beach, picnic on
one of many tables in the woods or by the lake, come down to
the snack bar and sit on our floating patio with snacks and a
cold drink. Finish with one of our hand dipped ice cream cones.
Want to go fishing? We sell tackle and bait. Is the fishing
good? The Tennessee State record Stripper was caught in
Cordell Hull Lake. Speaking of the lake, you have hundreds of
miles of shoreline and coves to explore.
